I am traveling to Europe for a month in October. I am confused by the Eurail pass. I feel like the Gold pass which allows for unlimited travel during my trip may actually be more than I need and costs a fortune as well. I am traveling from Spain to France, Italy, Germany and the Netherlands and flying to Dublin. I have considered using some of the regional flights for several of my destinations to save time although I do want to have a train experience. I there for 32 days and am heading to approximately 10 cities (maybe more, maybe less) and cant see myself needing more than 10-13 train trips max. What is the best pass to purchase and what is your experience with the Eurail overall? Thanks in advance!
