Going to Australia/New Zealand fo sho in Dec or Jan on a 4-6 month travel session. I also want to spend part of that time in Hawaii and South Pacific. Anyone made this trek before and have any pointers for me? Some of the islands I'm interested in checking out are Fiji, New Caledonia, Kiribati, Samoa, Tahiti, Tonga, and New Guinea. I was thinking it might be a good idea to hit Hawaii on the return portion of the trip -- kinda decompress a bit. Hoping to be in Sydney for New Year's Eve.
